Let ℓ1,ℓ2\ell_{1}, \ell_{2}ℓ1,ℓ2 be two straight lines in Euclidean 3-space. Show that there is a rotation about some axis through an angle π\piπ that maps ℓ1\ell_{1}ℓ1 onto ℓ2\ell_{2}ℓ2. Is this rotation unique?
